30-day money-back guarantee

Not satisfied with your purchase? Return any unused product in its original packaging within 30 days of delivery for a full refund of the product price.

How to return an order

  1. Email sales@driveshine.co.nz within 30 days of receiving your order. Include your order number and a brief reason.
  2. We’ll reply within 1 business day with a return address and confirmation.
  3. Pack the item securely (original packaging where possible) and send it back via tracked courier.
  4. Once we receive the return and confirm its condition, we’ll refund you within 5 business days to your original payment method.

Return shipping

  • Faulty or wrong item sent: we cover the return shipping cost in full.
  • Change of mind: you cover the return shipping cost.

We strongly recommend using a tracked service. We can’t process a refund for items lost in transit back to us.

Condition of returned items

For a full refund, the product must be:

  • Unused and in re-saleable condition.
  • In its original packaging where reasonably possible.
  • Returned within 30 days of delivery.

Where a product has been partially used, we may offer a partial refund at our discretion.

Damaged or faulty items

If your order arrives damaged or develops a fault, contact us within 48 hours of delivery (for transit damage) or as soon as the fault appears (for product faults). Email a photo to sales@driveshine.co.nz and we’ll arrange a replacement or full refund — whichever you prefer.

Your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. Where the Act applies, you are entitled to a remedy (repair, replacement, or refund) for goods that fail to be of acceptable quality, fit for purpose, match their description, or last a reasonable time. Our 30-day guarantee is in addition to these rights, not in place of them.

Refund timeframe

Once we’ve received and inspected the return, refunds are processed within 5 business days. Card refunds typically appear in your account within 3–10 business days depending on your bank. Afterpay refunds are processed by Afterpay according to their own timeframes.
